A few months ago I lifted up a heavy carton, which reminded me very well that I couldn’t afford that type of exercise. The pain was back!

After an unsuccessful / unsatisfactory visit to a physiotherapist I decided to see a doctor who could do something efficient for me.

“Access Back Care” is the clinic with the most efficient doctors I have ever seen. They mix massage therapy (not always pleasant, but that’s not the point), acupuncture (“mosquito bites”) and chiropractic to stop your pain… and it’s very effective

They know exactly what they are doing especially with the massage (how they can remove your knots) and the acupuncture which finishes the massage work to prepare you for a good “chiro session” which is very effective and less painful with the combination of massage and acupuncture.

I would recommend this care /that therapy to everybody without any hesitation.

Feel free to ask, they have accessories (like plastic spine) to show you how our body works; it’s very interesting, pedagogical and reassuring.

I went to Stephen with chronic lower back pain which he miraculously cured in two
sittings. The great thing about the Access Back Care is the all in one service they provide.  Stephen used acupuncture to calm the area effected and was able to fix the problem without fuss or  drama. I realise now that my back pain was affecting my work and I intend to keep using him  every so often to keep on top of things.

I began acupuncture treatments while I was receiving chemotherapy to treat ovarian cancer.  The acupuncture helped me greatly with managing the side effects of the treatments.  When the chemotherapy finished I was still experiencing leftover side effects, in particular tingling in the nerve endings of both hands and feet.

I have since continued with the needles together with regular osteopathic massage which have helped that particular symptom and I now experience almost no discomfort at all from the tingling.  I have decided to continue receiving acupuncture treatments on a regular basis as I feel that this wonderful ancient medicine has much to offer in contributing to my over-all well-being.

From the beginning, I have been having the treatments at Stephen Thwaites’ clinic and have had every reason to feel confident in the quality of the treatment that I receive from both Stephen and Lindsay.
